Lead Three-Year-Old Teacher

Qualifications: 18+ years old with high school diploma or GED. College degree preferred. Previous experience strongly preferred, but not required. Good with kids and comfortable managing a classroom. Able to plan activities and lead simple curriculum-based lessons.

Responsibilities: Manage and supervise a classroom of three-year-old children. Lead them in curriculum-based age-appropriate studies (numbers, letters, Bible verses, basic hand-eye skills). Plan activities to supplement curriculum. Supervise lunch, nap, outside time, indoor play, snack time, planned activities, and curriculum time. Decorate classroom with seasonally appropriate decorations.

Availability: Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (with 1-hour lunch break)

Afternoon Three-Year-Old Teacher

Qualifications: 18+ years old with high school diploma or GED. Previous experience strongly preferred, but not required. Good with kids and comfortable managing a group of them. Able to stick to a schedule and clean thoroughly.

Responsibilities: Manage and supervise a classroom of three-year-old children. Supervise outside time, indoor play, snack time, and pickup time. Clean the classroom at the end of the day, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping tables, cleaning sinks, cleaning the bathroom, and taking out trash. Prepare the classroom for students and the lead teacher to use the following morning.

Availability: Mon-Fri 2:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Float

Qualifications: 18+ years old with high school diploma or GED. Previous experience appreciated, but not required. Good with kids and comfortable managing a group of them. Able to adapt to several different classroom environments.

Responsibilities: Step in and substitute for teachers on bathroom or lunch breaks, or who are out sick or on planned leave. This could include helping another teacher, or running a classroom on your own for a short period of time, possibly up to a few days. Duties could include changing diapers, feeding infants, or generally watching and taking care of a group of kids that could range in age from infants to 5-year-olds. Occasionally perform minor clerical or cleaning tasks. Be flexible enough to meet the staffing needs of the center on any given day, regardless of which class that need might be in.
